When Should Collection Cup Parts Be Replaced?

Replacement may be needed if you notice:

• Lower milk output than usual
• Visible stretching, warping, splitting or damage
• A valve that no longer closes fully
• A diaphragm that no longer creates a secure seal
• Breast shields that have become damaged, misshapen or uncomfortable

The lifespan of each component will depend on pumping frequency and how it is cleaned. Inspect all silicone parts regularly and replace them promptly when they show signs of wear.
