RETURNS & REFUNDS
Your Right to Cancel
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us before the end of the 14-day cancellation period. Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
For health protection and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of sealed breastfeeding or personal care products once they have been unsealed after delivery.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Breast pumps
- Milk collection cups
- Breast shields/flanges
- Valves and membranes
- Milk collection accessories
- Any other sealed breastfeeding or intimate personal care products
This does not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Return Conditions
Where a return is accepted, items should be unused and returned in their original packaging where reasonably possible, together with all accessories and manuals supplied.
You are entitled to inspect goods as you would in a shop. However, if you handle the goods more than is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in value.
Faulty or Defective Products
If your item arrives faulty, develops a fault, or is not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@librababy.co.uk.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, we may ask you to provide:
- Your order number;
- Photographs or video showing the fault;
- A description of the problem; and
- Details of how the product has been used.
Many breastfeeding products have manufacturer troubleshooting procedures, and some issues can be resolved through correct setup or fitting. We may therefore work with you and the manufacturer to diagnose the problem before deciding on the appropriate remedy.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, we will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights, which may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances.
Manufacturer Warranties
Some products include a manufacturer's warranty in addition to your statutory rights. Where applicable, warranty claims may be handled directly by the manufacturer or by us on the manufacturer's behalf. Manufacturer warranties do not replace or reduce your statutory consumer rights.
Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be made to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that they have been returned, whichever is earlier.
Where required by law, any standard delivery charge paid when placing your order will also be refunded. Additional charges for express or upgraded delivery services are non-refundable.
Return Shipping Costs
If you are returning goods because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the cost of returning them unless we have agreed otherwise.
If the goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, we will reimburse reasonable return postage where applicable.
Sale Items
Sale items are covered by the same statutory consumer rights as full-price items.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us before returning it. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, any eligible refund may be issued as store credit.
If the item was not purchased as a gift, any refund will be made to the original purchaser using the original payment method.
